Getting Started

CouncilMind is simple to use. Here's how to get started:

1. Go to the App: Visit councilmind.online/app
2. Sign In (Optional): Create an account to save your chat history and access premium features
3. Ask a Question: Type your question in the input field
4. Review Responses: See how multiple AI models answer your question
5. Read the Consensus: Get a synthesized summary of all perspectives

Asking Effective Questions

CouncilMind works best with questions that benefit from multiple perspectives:

Available AI Models

CouncilMind supports over 15 AI models. You can customize which models to query in Settings.

Free Models

Available to all users:

• GPT-5 Nano (OpenAI)
• Llama 3 70B (via Groq)
• Mixtral 8x7B (via Groq)
• DeepSeek Chat

Premium Models

Available on paid plans:

• Claude Opus 4.5, Claude Sonnet 4 (Anthropic)
• GPT-5 Turbo, GPT-5.2 Thinking (OpenAI)
• Gemini 2.5 Pro (Google)
• DeepSeek V3, DeepSeek R1 (Reasoning)
• And more...

Understanding Consensus

After all models respond, CouncilMind generates a consensus summary that:

• Identifies Agreement: Points where most models converge (high confidence)
• Highlights Disagreement: Areas where models differ (requires human judgment)
• Synthesizes Insights: Combines the best points from each model
• Notes Unique Perspectives: Captures valuable points only one model raised

Multi-Round Discussions

On higher-tier plans, you can enable multi-round discussions. In each round:

1. Models see each other's previous responses
2. They can refine their positions or challenge others
3. The discussion deepens with each round
4. Final consensus reflects the refined thinking

Settings

Click the gear icon in the app to access settings:

• Model Selection: Choose which AI models to include in your council
• Discussion Rounds: Set how many rounds of discussion (plan-dependent)
• Consensus Model: Choose which model generates the final summary
• Theme: Toggle between light and dark mode

Plans & Query Limits

All paid plans include overage billing if you exceed your monthly quota.
